Overview

The MGPC of Nursing is affiliated with the Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board (K.S.D.N.E.B), Bangalore, as well as the Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC) and the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The GNM program is a three-year diploma course designed to equip students with fundamental knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes required to enter the healthcare sector as nurses. It focuses on developing their competencies in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for individuals across all age groups. This program enables students to provide high-quality, therapeutic care effectively.

Benefits of Being a Nurse

In today's world, nursing is among the most in-demand professions. It offers opportunities to work abroad while providing independence and flexibility in choosing how and where to build your career—unlike many other professions that require city-based employment for career growth. As one of the top GNM Nursing colleges in Bangalore, we take pride in preparing dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate professionals. Nurses play a vital role in healthcare, always ready to support and care for others, earning respect from both their patients and medical teams.

Flexible Working Hours

A career in nursing offers significant flexibility and freedom. Depending on their employer, registered nurses (RNs) can work either part-time or full-time. Many healthcare facilities also offer 12-hour shifts, allowing nurses to have extended workdays followed by four consecutive days off. With various departments to choose from, nurses can select their preferred area of specialization. We have an outstanding placement record for GNM Nursing training. Nurses have access to diverse work environments, including medical and surgical facilities, rehabilitation centers, mental health and substance abuse centers, and private hospitals. While some nurses travel to community centers, schools, and public facilities, others provide care directly in patients' homes.

Job Opportunities

The nursing profession offers a fulfilling career with numerous opportunities, challenges, and rewards. After completing ANM or GNM diploma courses, you can secure jobs in various sectors, including physicians' offices, nursing care facilities, home healthcare, employment services, government organizations, and other esteemed institutions. Pursuing higher education, such as a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Nursing, can further enhance your career prospects and open doors to advanced roles. Some of the key job profiles in the nursing field include:
